Terms of use
DishCache helps you save recipes, cook from them, and share them when you choose. These terms set the practical rules for using the service.
Last updated September 1, 2026
By creating an account or using DishCache, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13, and you must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. If you are not old enough to do that on your own, a parent or guardian must approve your use.
Keep your email address current, protect your sign-in information, and do not use someone else’s account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
You keep your rights in the recipe text, notes, images, and other material you add. You give DishCache permission to host, process, copy, and display that material only as needed to run the service and apply the sharing settings you choose.
Saving a public link does not transfer ownership of the source page, writing, or images. Only import, upload, or share material you have the right to use. Keep source information when it matters, respect a publisher’s terms, and do not use DishCache to republish someone else’s protected work as your own.
DishCache may remove material, disable a sharing link, limit an account, or preserve records when reasonably necessary to address an infringement claim, privacy problem, abuse, security risk, or legal requirement.
Recipes begin as private. An unlisted recipe can be viewed by anyone who has the link. A public recipe can be viewed by anyone and may be indexed by search engines. You choose which supported recipe fields appear on a shared page.
A recipient may save, copy, print, or forward what you share. Turning sharing off prevents future access through the current DishCache page or link; it cannot erase copies already made outside your account.
Do not use DishCache to:
Recipe extraction is imperfect. A source page may be incomplete, change after you save it, or be parsed incorrectly. Review ingredients, quantities, steps, timings, temperatures, and serving information before relying on a saved recipe.
DishCache does not provide medical, nutrition, allergy, or food-safety advice. Check allergens and dietary restrictions yourself, follow authoritative food-safety guidance, and use your judgment about ingredients, equipment, storage, doneness, and safe cooking temperatures.
DishCache may change, pause, or discontinue features and may be unavailable during maintenance, provider failures, or other interruptions. No online service is a guaranteed permanent archive. Use the export feature and keep a copy of important recipes somewhere you control.
DishCache is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent the law permits. There is no promise that every source page will import, every image will remain available, or the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
You may stop using DishCache at any time. You can export your library and start account deletion from the iOS app. Deleting your account removes your DishCache records, active sharing links, and managed recipe images, subject to limited provider backups, security records, and legal retention needs.
Access may be limited or ended when an account materially or repeatedly violates these terms, threatens the service or other people, or creates legal or security risk. When practical, reasonable notice or a chance to correct the problem will be provided.
To the extent permitted by law, DishCache is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or harm caused by source content, recipe errors, unsafe preparation, or a recipient’s use of material you shared. Rights that cannot legally be waived or limited remain in effect.
These terms are governed by Ohio law, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live. If one part is unenforceable, the remaining terms still apply.
These terms may change as DishCache changes. The current version and its date will remain on this page. Continuing to use DishCache after an updated version takes effect means you accept it.
